Welcome to Cornerstone Middle School!
CMS opened January 6, 2003. This was the same time that the new Upperman High School opened. Cornerstone Middle School combined the 5th and 6th grade students from Baxter Elementary with the 7th and 8th grade students from Upperman High School. www.beakNOwbody.comBe A "Know" Body. Students can ask questions, share their experiences, and learn myths and facts about the dangers of underage drinking. They can navigate the site in approximately 30-45 minutes. Questions and story submissions will be monitored by the coalition and placed on the website as appropriate. The rationale behind the campaign came from focus groups conducted with Putnam County students by MMA Creative. MMA discovered that our students KNOW the dangers and the truth about underage drinking. The purpose of this campaign is to support their NO Power, the ability to say No under pressure.
