Mission Statement

The mission of Cornerstone Middle School is to promote academic excellence and establish lifelong foundations for success in a safe learning environment.

The Putnam County Board of Education logo rests atop a stack of books. The books have titles, 'Raise Academic Standards and Student Achievement', 'Attract and Retain the Best Faculty and Staff', 'Maximize Utilization of Buildings, Grounds and Assets', 'Increase Community Involvement', 'Create Equality of Programs and Service Among Schools', and 'Provide a Comprehensive Approach to Health and Well Being'. Around the image are the words: 'Education is the number one prioritit for our children'. 'Our mission is to produce individuals who serve and participate in society.'
